Hair cutting of woman in Islam

Question:

If a lady wants to cut her hair for the intention of growth and for beautification while she intends to avoid from mixing with (na-mahram) strange men, will it be permissible for her to cut the hair? Please answer in detail with reference.

Answer:

Hair cutting of woman in Islam for the intention of growth of hair and for beautification or to adorn herself for her husband is permissible to trim the tip of the hair there is nothing wrong doing that. If she cuts best part of her hair as it is done nowadays just for fashion then it is not allowed in the Shari’ah.
